275/65r/18 BFGoodrich At's
Just a quick question. I Just ordered new tires for my truck, i wanted to go with 305s but due to high demand they would of taken up to 6 weeks to ship. As a result i decided to just go with the 275/65r/18 Bfgoodrich At tires. These should look larger due to the square sidewall and sit slightly higher than the stock rugged trails. In your opinion do you all believe that these tires will look out of proportion with a 2.5 inch leveling kit? Pictures would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks and Merry Christmas! |
Thats the stock tire size on my truck. It's just under 32". IMHO.... if you're adding a leveling kit, it will look just like the rear of my truck. Take a look at the picture in my sig.

Stock size for my truck as well. I just had a 2.5" AS leveling kit installed yesterday but do not have any pics of it yet. Will take a few tomorrow & post them for you to see.
I have the stock Goodyear AT/S tires on my truck (not for long though), not BF AT. |

Thanks and Merry Christmas! BFG Rugged Trail T/A P275/65-18, Diameter 31.9", section width 10.7" BFG All Terrain T/A LT275/65-19, Diameter 31.1", section width 11" Goodyear Wrangler ATS LT275/65-18, Diameter 32", sectoin width 10.9" Personally, I'd either pick a different sized tire that visually fits well with the LK or wait the 6 weeks for the 305's. I don't see the appear of a leveled truck with stock sized rubber. Looks off to me, but we all know the deal with opinions. Hope this helps. Merry Ho Ho Ho, back at cha |

I have the stock Goodyear AT/S tires on my truck (not for long though), not BF AT. The truck is already heavy and the tires are marginal at best. To the OP... have you looked into the 285's? they'll sit at 33" |
I put the BFG All Terrain TA 285/65 18's on my '04 back in '07 . They are slightly one size larger than the stock tire. I love the look of these larger BFG's on my stock height truck.
And, as a bonus I've got 58,000 miles on them so far. Unlike the original Rugged Trail TA which is only good for 25-30,000 miles, these last alot longer. I have run the All Terrain TA's on all my trucks for more than twenty years. I typically get around 65-70,000 miles from a set. |
OP, here are the pics of my truck with the 275/65/18's & a 2.5" leveling kit that I promised you.
