Thanks, I went ahead and order cam phasers, but I will check this out. Any tell tell signs to look for that will give it away?

I couldn't actually see the leak. It was on cylinder number 4 but the front side of the cylinder. (between cylinder 3 and 4)

You may be able to get a mirror in there if you remove the inner fender but it's really tight in there.

Okay, well thanks for all the info man! I' afraid that still be a problem after the cam phaser swap. I will take a look at that if the noise continues.

Well I finished it tonight. Sounds much better. When I pulled the passenger side cam phaser it near fell apart as soon as I got it out from under the timing chain. Looks like the pins that held part of it together have broke I'm not sure. Either way it made the whole deal feel way more worth it.

I do still have the road noise, but for now I'm going to turn the radio up, and deal with the manifold later.

I would like to thank Steve Bassen for his awesome write up and for borrowing his timing chain wedge!
