Mod's w/tax return money? Anyone

Last year I had a little over 3K to spend. Don't wanna spend the whole wad, but would love a 6" lift, wheels and tires.

Debating just doing a leveling kit and taking care of a few credit card bills.

you could always just level with new tires/wheels to hold you over until you get the lift.

As much as it may suck not to get the lift, I think that's the smart decision, pay off the credit card bills, save the $$ that you were paying out for those bills plus the money lost in interest and buy lift later.

1. Pay your bills you already have.

2. File your taxes the right way so you break even at the end of the year. More money to you per check and you aren't taking a chance on using the Federal government as a savings account.

Mark another one for paying your bills first. I know it gets kind of ansy when you want to buy something, but just think how it feels when you pay off some bills and are not under the gun to pay out. Best feeling.

You do realize this is your money, money you earned, you just overpaid your taxes, so you get the overpayment back.

The fact that you allow the government to barrow interest free about $250 a month all year, while you have balance on credit cards, likely costing you hundreds more, every month is baffling, I understand people getting behind on CC from time to time when a bunch of bills hit at once, but you have the money. The last thing you need is a lift kit. Adjust your W4 and take that $250 put it as extra towards the credit card, once its paid off all that money you are spending monthly now on interest, will be like free money!
