2004 5.4 stalls when i turn left or right!

I have an issue....

It's a 2004 Ford F150 Lariat 5.4. I replaced my battery and belt, cuz I thought it was the problem for my shutter. Turns out, thanks to the knowledge base of this forums members, I think that problem is my COPs, I'm gonna test it tonight on my way home from work to make sure.

I'm not getting any codes....so this really confuses me. If I turn to hard to the left, the RPM's drop to like 200, and then it stalls.

I have a K&N cold air intake, and an Evolution Edge Tuner, which I've returned to stock, just in case, and I'm not getting any codes from the OBDII!

Any ideas?

Izzy

is it just when you turn? Could it be your power steering pump dropping engine rpms to stall?

Check the routing on your serpentine belt.

I have a K&N cold air intake
Clean your MAF. Then put the stock intake back on with a paper filter and do a DWV/Gotts mod to it.

Mine does a similar thing but ONLY when it's really damp outside. After it gets warmed up there's no problems. It's been doing it for a long time but has never caused a serious issue. Weird.

Thanks for the replies! I've been sick the past three days! BLAH!

I checked the routing of my belt, just in case, it wasn't correct.

It's just when I turn ALL the way to the left or right, to where the pw st pump kinda whines a little, the RPM's drop, and it quits.

Mine had a problem when turning into a parking spot it would stall. The rpm would move around alot at idle and it would eventually stall out after a while. Turned out to be the throttle body. Replaced it and it's running good as new.

I've noticed if I turn at full lock (usually backing up) it drops rpms slightly
