ive heard another common problem with these trucks is the automatic climate control. any details on this? what happens when they go bad? any links to tsb's?

 

Have you looked in the HVAC forum yet and read some threads?

 

Do a search for TSB 08-23-6. The fix is a new blend door actuator motor and may be covered by your warranty. When mine went bad, it couldn't properly regulate temperature and I had hot air coming out the a/c ducts when it should have been cool air (late summer). When the door was hunting, I could hear a lot of clicking noises that I thought was the CD player.
