Why are F150's best in class..?

Obviously I know they are the absolute best, just wanted a few more reasons to tell my dodge buddy when he starts the debate.

Look at the hydro-formed frame we all have. Very solid foundation for a truck.

Tow ability and tow rating. Towing my 6k boat at 70-75. Trannny temp is like 165. Chevy is often 200+ Higher temp = more work and less life....

Ours is not the fastest but speed does not make a good real truck. Its ability to work, haul and tow.

Because WE own one !!

It is human nature to believe that whatever we are driving is the best choice.

Seriously, F-150's are the best because of their track record.

Have you drove a comparable 04-09 Chevy 1500 or dodge?

I have have. I test drove a 1500 Dodge ram (not hemi) mega cab and I hated it.
The interior is all wrong, it feels wrong and looks very plastic like.

The 4X4 chevy 1500 (company) work truck (2009, 45K miles) I often drive, well drives weird. It turns weird and even before I leveled my 06 F-150 4X2 I say higher.
The chevys have nice interior options, and the LTZ package is really nice.

Never drove a Titan or Tundra, but I have worked on them before.
I can't say I like them at all, they just look and feel wrong inside and out.

Out of all the trucks I have drove, sat in and worked on my seats (as far as cloth seats go) are about the best, passed only by the newer 09+ F-150s.

As far as leather, I have never sat in anything more comfy than a dodge Big horn edition, the K.R comes close though, so does the Harley F-150.

I don't have the fastest truck, I don't have the biggest engine, but I bet any other 1/2 pick-up will not match me in towing and hauling. Stock to stock in the same year ranges 04-08/9.

I have had over 2,400Lbs in the back of my truck before, and it preformed wonderfully.

The bighorn is a nice truck, ill give you that. But the tundra is way to japanese, and the GM trucks all look the same... Cheap!

My brother in law has an '05 ram, the interior is so much cheaper and less comfortable. The ride is much harsher and the road noise is louder. Granted I have a lariat and he has some more base model, but still the ride and road noise.

Rock solid frame, thicker sheet metal on the body and doors, and the best riding truck on the market! And, as already stated, best selling truck for 33 years!
