Yea, sounds like a dead battery.

In case you skipped past earlier posts, it may be a dead battery.

My Motorcraft battery failed suddenly. Others have experienced the same. You may have been bitten. If you had the stock battery in a 2005 - bingo...

I don't know, it could be something simple like a dead battery. Don't think anyone has suggested that, but that is just my guess. :coffee:

Nettershakes 10-15-2010 12:10 AM

hmmm.... wait a minute..... battery?

Stealth 10-15-2010 06:49 AM

Maybe someone stole his battery... It could be charging perfectly well for the battery crook...

mkosu04 10-15-2010 12:13 PM

I'm going out on a limb here and I'll say it could be a dead battery. Just a guess ;)

Guys, Gals.. All good suggestions but what about something as simple as a dead battery

Go over to Sears and get yourself a Platinum P2.

(true story)

Well, I walked in the store one day. When I started the truck to go to the store it was fine.

I came out from the store and nothing worked on my truck. I tried and tried to jump start it, but nothing worked. Not even a brand new Chevy taho. (chevy never work anyway) Nor did the S-10, or the Ford Thunderbird.

I had to get pulled home by a dodge of all things.

I replaced the battery and all was fine.

Maybe you should check the battery first?

RobPad 10-15-2010 10:22 PM

thanks for all the different possibilities as to what the problem could be. after all the things I checked it turned out to be........DEAD BATTERY:eek:
