Post DUI, replaced SCREW with this; PICS
The title of the thread says that he got a DUI. It's not like I'm bringing up any new news. I don't want him to mess up another nice looking truck because he want's to be a retard one night and roll another.
It's called "reinforcement". You keep telling him "bad" and he won't do it again.

Your idea of reinforcement is kicking somebody when they are down apparently.
He knows he done wrong, you don't tell him Bad bad bad to make him do right, because in the end that person will go out and do "bad" again because that makes them think that's all they know how to do.
You positive reinforce them to do right and encourage them not to make the same mistake twice.
Keep the flowmasters. I have them on my truck and love the sound and the performance isn't lacking. Our trucks are already slow so big deal if you lose a little torque. Just put a super 10 on my dads f250 and it sounds great as well.
Actually, I'm a glorified baby sitter. Kids these days aren't stupid and belligerent because of teachers, it's from retarded parents who don't discipline their kids enough and blame everyone else for their own failures.
Nice looking truck Wade. It don't need a lift kit. Detailing and accessorizing as funds allow is plenty.
$3800 maybe seems like high insurance, but the risk they take is high too, you're lucky you can get it.
thejake1989 or 4.6Punisher, please point me to some credible evidence that there's a big, or any, valid reason to replace a Flowmaster in good shape with a magnaflow ... or to even use a Magnaflow over a Flowmaster when first purchasing?
An impartial third party dyno comparison would be nice.
Thanks

Bam...
It's only a few HP/TQ, but every bit counts on these trucks. Plus Magnaflows don't rot out within 2 years.

No argument there, but you can't treat an adult who also happens to be a LEO who screwed up big time the same way as a stupid and belligerent kid.
Thanks for the kind words this Labor Day morning guys. Look, I didn't take the comment bad (the one about not screwing this truck up like I did the other one) and actually smiled when I read it. It's a mistake I never want to make again and I hope NONE OF YOU ever have to go through it.
Money is very minimal at this point and the lift kit/wheels-tires idea is basically a pipe dream at this point. When I get some time I'm gonna clean it up real good and take some better pictures.

Join the club on the high insurance. I pay 2400/year on insurance and I have a clean record...(2 vehicles though) one I'm about to take off collision on it because its only worth about 3.5k But I think I'm going to wait until after winter to do so.
Truck looks nice and I would just keep the exhaust, if your lacking funds why change something that doesn't really need to be changed? Go with the lift first.

Not to many of those regular cab FX4's running around.
I seen a NICE one I almost bought. 6inch lift on 37's. But they wanted 20 grand for it O_O so I didnt buy. 20 grand for a 05 lifted with 40K miles and only a regular cab, I told them to take a hike. Regular cabs look sick. But I got the Screw because ill be driving it for a LONG time and theres gonna be kids in the future
