Time to say Goodbye

The F150 is no longer in my ownership. It has been a pleasure to read the boards and learn so much about these trucks. I wish everyone the best of luck.

Makes sense to me...if you haul people more than cargo. I have both: my F150 and a Chevy Tahoe (which I also consider a truck). Both work hard and tow the boat, but only one handles the smelly, dirty stuff and the other fits into parking garages!

Some people need a station wagon. 4 wheel drive station wagons (AMC Eagle, Subaru, etc) were station wagons until yuppies decided to fancy up the name.

Doesnt make sense to me! There'a more room in an F150 Screw than what he's got now! And by the looks of his old one he liked to play! Cant play as hard anymore!! + It's not even a ford!! Oh well....to each his own!?! Can someone at least crop a pic of a girl and paste it in his shot......might be easier to look at!!!

Good luck bud,

I too had a brief affair with a Toyota, it wasn't the sexy, daring, adventurous type of affair most people think of. It was messy, ugly, slow, and almost always ended in blood shed

Hopefully it works out for you!

Thanks guys. Still love Fords, but I actually work for Toyota as an engineer. I am very confident in our products and from the engineering standpoint I can tell you that the dedication and hard work put into these vehicles is amazing. It is has been a very hard time this past year with all the recalls. No doubt Toyota has made mistakes in the past, but I can personally let you know that our engineers take no shortcuts, and build some of the best quality vehicles in the industry.

My girlfriend, who is also a Toyota engineer, was sad to see the truck go. For me it was time to move on and get something between a truck and a car. Mileage, but still capable when I go to the farm and need to use 4wheel drive. Once again it has been fun, and good luck to all.

Nice 4Runner! Those Trail Editions are sweet! Check out www.toyota120.com. Great site for information just like this one. Unfortunite thing for the 5th gen is that as of now there really arent that many aftermarket parts for it. Since you're an engineer, maybe you can convince ARB to get some stuff out there asap! Enjoy your Toy and you know you'll love it!
