Window Regulator new assembly,The up & down is Reverse.
I Replace My Window Regulator on Passenger side with new one from ford dealership and the up and down are reverse at switch, The Old pig tail and the new to motor that came with new assembly are the same.
Are these new regulator from the ford dealership reverse also like the aftermarket assembly they say.
Is there a short pig tail out there to solve this reverse problem?
This new window regulator for passenger side Part#(WLRA-38,4L3Z-1823200-CA regulator)Ford Motorcraft.
2004 FX4 OFFROAD.

I got one end of the pig tail to swap wire, at the black end was the easy one, Removed red locking clip inside,by pressing a hole at back & then push it out.
and to release the wire pry up on black clip inside at far back to release while pulling wire,
Make your switch,
Then put red locking clip back in.
I used a small straight o-ring pick.
The cable used is the short pig tail that came with the new assembly to motor, or you can use your old one. The other end of pig tail is gray it goes to the motor.
This could of been a lot easier if the cable was wired correct the first time.

At one time they were made so you could insert a small screwdriver into the back of the plug (where the wires enter) and it would release the latching mechanism for each wire so you could pull them out of the plug and switch them. They would come out with the metal end intact so you could just push them back into the other side.

This happened to me twice. Once on my wifes 05 passenger window using a Ford part and on my 04 using an aftermarket part made by Dorman. You can use a small screw driver and release the locking tab on the pins in the connector and just swap postions, takes a couple of minutes but it works just fine.
