Well its been awhile since i first posted on here and so far i think my truck has started off to a good start. Haven't done too much to it just small things here and there.

Sorry for the crappy pics it was on my phone but overall i like the way the truck is turning out so far. Nothing too major planned for the future due to it being my dd for college. I do plan on adding the Bilstein 5100's here very soon and some new exhaust. This forum has helped tons already in what ive done

I like the way you painted those emblems. Any tips or tricks to getting looking so good?

 

Yeah definitely, i made sure to tape off the emblems extremely well first of all and then i scuffed it with a red scotch brite pad. Basically until the emblem was a very dull chrome color. Then sprayed light coats of gloss black on it and let dry and hit it with maybe two coats of clear. I used krylon fusion paint to adhere to the plastic better. I also cut up a cardboard box to make a square around the emblem but big enough for the can to fit in that way it blocked the overspray from reaching the truck. I got the inlays from patriotdecals.
