Quick question about DTC codes and scanning for them on a 2005 f150

I dont know if this is the right place to post this but i have a question about my 2005 f150. I took it to ford to check for some issues...one of them is my check engine light was on. I used my sct xcal2 to scan for dtc codes and came up with p0325 for the knock sensor. So ford is also saying my cats are clogged and need to be replaced. When I asked them how they came to check my cats since I didnt take it in for that he told me that there was a code for it. Is there hidden codes that my xcal can not read??? I have a work truck (f250) that threw a code and that one was a p0420 and that one deal with the cat being bad. Is this for dealer Full of poo??

If Ford is going to replace the cats on warranty, let them!

The Ford WDS can do a lot more things than just read generic codes, but I'm not aware of any cat codes other than the P0420 and P0430 for low efficiency. Muffler shops check for clogged cats with an infrared sensor.

They changed there answer....they firs told me they read the code they were clogged and needed 2500 to fix it. I told them I scanned for the codes and didnt see that code...then they told me they didnt actually read the code but based on there testing...they were getting closed to clogged. Uhhh yeah...truck has 135k on it...i guess they are getting clogged. Not like I would spend 2500 on that anyway since I can get my whole exhaust done for way less than that.

I looked up the emissions warranty.....8 years or 80,000 miles for catalytic converter. My truck is at the dealership right now for the p0420.
