How interchangeable are the fuel tank skidplates between model years?

I have an 08 XLT 150" SCrew 4x4 with 26 gal tank and without plates.

I am interested in the fuel tank plates especially, but am confused about the differences in the plates.

I see three different plates listed for the F150. One is for a short frame [13x"], one for the 145/163" and one for the 150" frame.

All are for the 26 gal tanks.

How different are these plates, in all actuality? Is it just a different drill point for the straps? Or are the actual rectangular dimensions different?
