need a quick answer

How deep can a stock 06 F150 4x4 with 18's go before it starts to suck water or die?

Should be good as long as your airbox does not go under. With that said you may have water in your cab before you have issues. Now if you go speeding into a hole and basically create a wave that you drive through, you could suck up water unexpectedly.

If you dont mind can you shed some light on why you are asking this question?

10cm of rain coming, ditches are saturated already, rivers are high. Not offroading but trying to get around on the roads if all the rain does actually come.

Got ya, on a good road bed, take your time and be safe and you should be good. In my old truck I have been deep enough to get water inside the cab and never had a problem with sucking up water.

Im hoping its going to turn to snow as the temps are dropping but it will probably just rain.

You will have to worry about water being sucked into the diffs, TC, and trannie before it will be sucked into the engine.

It's amazing your talking about snow, it is easily 90 deg here in miami right now. Dont you have summers at all???

we have 3-4 months of summer then pre winter and post winter.

actually i wouldnt be surprised if it snows at the cabin.

that would be a lot of snow.

I'm in Ontario and it's 85 degrees here.....

Used to live in Winnipeg, and I've seen it get to 90 there too...

Guess things have changed haha
