Tail light replacement help

I'm guessing those two bolts just remove the fixture? Also, The tail light works but doesn't light up with brakes, signal or hazards. Does it normally fail this way? When putting on the left signal, it blinks very fast in the cab.

Any insight? Thanks!

yeah those two bolts are what hold the light in. the fast blinker means that you have a bulb out, that's the trucks way of telling you.

Thanks man!

Question, there's only one bulb for the tail light / signal / brake / hazard, correct? Now sure why it works as a tail light and does not flash or glow brighter when applying the brakes. Does it have a dual element or something along those lines?

Thanks man. Got the part number. I'll replace it tomorrow. i do believe this would be covered under my bumper to bumper warranty, but I really don't feel like waiting two hours just for a bulb to get replaced. Autozone will do just fine.

Bulbs aren't usually covered under the bumper to bumper warranty as its assumed its a wear and tear part, but maybe you got lucky and your dealership wants to treat you nice...some do, some don't, and some don't treat you nice until you are looking to buy again...or maybe thats just my luck
