does anyone know if the 08 + oem bed liners will work on an 06 as long as the bed lengths are they same size?

I believe so, they look precisely identical.

Do you have to take off the valve covers to do that? How hard was it?

If I remember (which I probably won't but I'll try lol), I can measure the beds of an 04-08 and then an 09+ early tomorrow morning. I'm always bored out of my mind at work for the first few hours anyway.

From memory, I want to say the beds themselves are identical and the only difference is the bed panels and tailgate panel.

They changed the design for the '07 (I think) 5.4 where you do have to take the valve cover off. Prior to that, 04-06 was pretty easy to do. I did both mine in around an hour.

Very easy... look at my thread in the 04-08 section.

Beds are identical down to the 1/4 inch. Measured an 04 and a 2013, both without any kind of bed liner and both 5.5 foot beds. I'd have done 6.5 foot one, but we only have 5.5 ft bed 04-08s.

Got my intercooler pump working again after figuring out the relay was bad. Scratched the surface corrosion off the contact points inside the relay and I was back in business!

Tried diagnosing why my ABS light is on... that's still a work in progress. I think my back sensor is shot, but not sure how to confirm other than just replacing it?

RF269 isn't a perfect fit unlike threads are claiming, and so is the hose adapter

No problem.

Had my coolant, brake fluid, and injector service done at 92k miles on Friday.

A lot of the rear ABS sensors in the rear diff get metal on the magnet from gear wear. I helped my son clean his off and the light went out. Wiped it down and blew it off with my compressor nozzle.... Try it before buying a new sensor.

gave her a bath. I also prepped for bed liner spray in a rattle can for the bed rail caps and tailgate cap. They were starting to fade.

Didn't do anything to it physically, but the girlfriend and I took a cruise to the mall, and I of coarse went by the Ford dealer down in Williamsport and found a truck I love, a 2011 FX4 supercrew 5'5, moonroof, nav, 20"s, red candy metallic, 26k miles, 5.0! Definitely going to be calling about it.

Anyway, all of this wanting a newer truck ideas going on with my mind, my truck needs a bit of a thanking, and a tribute.

So, as a tribute to the time ( and money ) I have invested into my 2007 Lariat since taking ownership in May 2011, here is my little creation of a plaque image for my truck, the Black Knight. Basically a then and now photo display, and a list of modifications photoshopped in numerous manners.
