DDM HID's

For those who have them:

1- Do there Bi-xenon kits come with the relay harness?
2- Are the Bi-xenon kits the one that tilt the bulb for the high beam position or is it the ones that have a separate halogen bulb for the high beam?

And an general HID Question

1- Worth it to get the Bi-xenon?
2- How many of you have them in your fogs? And do u run them all the time with your heads?

THanks

I purchased a Hi/lo kit from DDM for my headlights and it came with a wire harness. Only one bulb for each headlight, high and low beam were HID.

I bought the raptor kit and it did come with a relay.
Idk about your second question.

Definitely get the Hi/lo. Its only $20 and then you wont regret it later.
I dont really use my fogs if I dont need them. Kind of gets too bright and blinds people.

1- Worth it to get the Bi-xenon? Absolutely. I just put a set in and the difference is unbelievable.
2- How many of you have them in your fogs? And do u run them all the time with your heads? I installed them in my headlights, waited until night and then started the truck and turned them on. It took exactly .04 seconds before I decided that the fogs would be changed as well.
THanks

Please see above.

I just put DDM's in my wifes fusion both heads and fogs 6K 35W kits they are super white and VERY bright! I'm gonna take the ones out of my truck that I got off E-bay and go with the DDM's

You'll be ticked off and do just what Cavalry said if you don't get the fogs at the same time. Just get a 35W single beam kit for them of course though, much cheaper than a 55W Bi-Xenon kit.

Thanks for the replys!

So I am going to go with 35w H-13 Bi-xenon for the heads and 35W H-10 for the fogs.

Now I just need to decide on if I should go with 5000k or 6000k?!?

I got leds in all my other lights, which give a slight blue tint to them, but I am thinking I want to stick to more all white for the heads/fogs so that the 5-0 does not give mean any trouble with them.

What else is everybody running?

ChrisAU Apr 15, 2010 04:20 PM

I am running 6k, there is just the slightest hint of blue. I like them and they by no means look cheesy. I can't see how you could ever get pulled over for the color of them. I have a pic in my gallery.

Will what I meant or my thinking behind it was that I don't what to stand out to much with being to blue, cuz I know the factory HIDs on cars use 4300k. I just don't what to look like a damn ricer with blue head lights:eek:

Yogi.kudos Apr 15, 2010 04:38 PM

I would go with 5000k since you are getting the 35w

ChrisAU Apr 15, 2010 05:00 PM

My 6k's:

My buddy has 4300k on his chevy and it looks far better than the old 8ks he used to have and even better than the 6ks I used to have. Both of those looks ricer blue at pitch darkness, but the 4300k is just pure white and bright as hell.

Has anyone been running these for an extended period of time? The price seems to good to be true.

I am really wanting to pull the trigger on these... trying to figure out which ones I want. I want to do the Fogs and headlights, so I was eyeing the 35w 5k's.... because I really dont think the 55w would be ok in the fog's and you cant match them together as well if I get the 55w headlights and 35w fog's. Anyone have any input on this?

Anyone have any feedback or feeling on the Raptor vs Slim ballast?
