window regulator questions.

I guess I look at it differently. Yes, I wish the window regulator was not so flimsy, but I know they have to make things lighter such as aluminum hoods, etc in order to get the mpg. I really feel that my truck has been pretty good. All I have replaced in 99,400 miles and 5 years, is a wheel bearing and a regulator. Of course, there was regular maintenance stuff.

well, don't give him a bat to hit you over the head with (don't tell him)

and if he ever brings it up, just remind him that you'd rather have a broken window regulator than a truck that has a tailgate that does this:

i wasnt planning on telling him of course. im not a fan of toyotas either, but their windows work, as well as spark plugs dont get stuck, ect,ect. but i do understand that nothings perfect.

I had to replace both window regulators on my '99 Z-71 multiple times. Also, installing the one on my F-150 was worlds easier than on the Chevy.
