Then order those. If they do turn out cheap, just reinforce them. For sure alter the brackets and pull them closer to the truck. You obviously know how to weld if you make roll cages so since they fit a super crew then cut them where you need to and fit it to your truck. If they are only $160, if you mess up you can just buy some more.

I tig welded everything except the pipe to the brackets which was mig welded due to the curve of the pipe since I used the mounting brackets from my stock steps. Also click the link on the bottom right of the pick for a close up of the step.

Yeah you have a point, i thought about it. I'm full of what ifs though, im afraid if i cut them down to get the silver step part to match up, then the bars would be to short and look a little funny. I guess my question is what would be the difference between a super cab step and super crew. Both doors start in the same spot, so wouldn't it be basically the same step?

But yeah they should be the same, if not they may be a little longer in the rear.

Yeah just looked and for some 3" tubing looks like for the amount i will need its gonna run me about 160. So i can have steps already made up, just fab them up a little more for that much. Figure mise well why not. Now just need to sneak some funds out to buy them.
