Changed my spark plugs today

No trouble at all...took about 90 minutes...only one was hard to get out: the rear-most on the passenger side. Would that be #8?
Anyhow, a squirt of PB Blaster, and a 10-minute soak, and it came right out.
Man were they rusty; the "spark area", or the tips, looked OK, but the shaft below the threaded area was REALLY rusty.

These plugs bad been in fo a little over 2 years and 35,000 miles. They are Brisk plugs, and only good for 25,000 or so, thus I was a little late changing them out.

The things is, the job was REALLY a lot easier than I remembered from 2 yrs ago. Maybe I'm mis-remembering it?

BTW, this was on my 2008 F-150, with a Roushcharged 5.4 engine.

glad to hear it worked out for you. although, perhaps it was easier now because last time i would assume it had the stock 2-piece plugs, which tend to break.

its #4.

That's the one that broke on me. The lisle 65600 tool got it out, but a piece of the ceramic stayed in the cylinder. I vacuumed as much as I could but couldn't tell if anything came out.

For best access I removed the PCM

runs good
