add-a-leaf or 4x4 blocks

I have a 2wd with a 2" AS level kit and I tow a boat all summer. I really hate the look of the rear end sagging and I think I want a slight rake back anyway. Which is the better way to go, add-a-leaf or add the 4x4 blocks and u bolts on the rear end? Is there any other mods I would have to do with either af these?

Both options will give you your rake back. With the blocks, the rear end will still sag when towing or hauling, where as the AAL will not. However, the AAL will stiffen up the ride a bit.

Both will work but from my experience the AAL was the way to go. I started out with blocks but did not like the sag when I hooked up my enclosed trailer. Installed the AAL from AS and the truck sits real nice even when towing.
