low fuel level after fuel pump swap
Hi Guys,
today I dropped the tank on my 05 to install a Ford GT fuel pump, dropping it and installing the fuel pump was rather easy being it was my first time. My problem is I had maybe a gallon in the tank when I connected everything back up, turned the key, no explosions running fine. Drove to the gas station and I put only 12 gallons in (just in case I had to drop it again). I started the truck back up after fueling and low fuel warning comes on, drove around a bit and still low. I got back home and disconnected the battery let it sit for a bit and reconnected it, nothing...still got the low fuel alert and gauge needle still below E. Is it possible that the little floaty thing is stuck? I sure don't want to drop the tank again, but if needed I am thinking of maybe just going from the top this time to see if its easier.
Thanks
