I have never taken it apart, but i only have one light assembly that has a dome in the center and map lights on the sides... I'm guessing 3 lights, if my truck wasn't parked in BFE at my apartment complex I'd go take it apart, but that will have to wait till the morning.

Yeah, definitely worth 30 bucks. Makes the whole interior look cleaner. One of the first things I did on my truck.

I would say its the same setup that Carolinaboy has. I would order the map lights and maybe just a small festoon bulb, one thats not a board, sometrhing like 9 LEDs if anything. The map lights with the 13LED bulbs are very very bright. Those alone I guarantee would light up your entire cab.

Looks awesome! How do the LEDs react to the "Theater Style Dimming" like when you shut the door? Any change?

I was looking in to these bulbs from V Led or whoever they are. Look great but it wasn't worth it for me in Canada. I would have paid around $40 - $50 for them. I did some searching and found Putco has premium light kits. For the 04-08 with a sunroof kit # is 980021. They are boards that relace your existing bulbs in the lamp.

They also have their 360 LED bulbs. A pair of 194 style bulbs in white is part # 230194W-360. They run around $30 a pair. I am going to get these and see how they work in my map lights. I can get them from Grandwest Enterprises out of Saskatoon. I just don't see them having the rear dome number but for now this is going to be fine.

Try this link for the 360 bulbs and see what you guys think. I'll post back here when I have put mine in and report.

Excellent. You will not be disappointed.

And as Carolinaboy said, the fading dim out is not effected at all, it fades out, then once its about 20% out it shuts off. When you've been driving for awhile at night and you open the door, the instant response of the LEDs will surprise you, operates within hundredths of a second.

Same goes for the bed cargo lights.
