Swear if its not one thing its the other . Actually, truck hasn't had any problems, but noticed a whine while putting it reverse only. Like something is grabbing, but barely. Will be fairly subtle while the truck is backing out on its own and makes sort of a "humpf" whine when you apply the brakes. Tap the gas and no noise....

I don't feel a loss in power or anything smelling burnt after traveling, but just wonder if its the parking brake not letting loose fully or if the rear brakes are sticking a bit/getting low on thickness.

Suggestions? 2006 XLT 5.4 4x4 77k mi. Searched... but seems there are a lot of whine threads to pick from....
