aux input in tray

Just put an aux-input in the dashboard tray.

I was going to buy a new one with the aux-input
built in but tried this instead.

Got it from www.boatersland.com $9.00

Don't know how to post a picture in a thread
There are some in my gallery.

That's pretty cool. What kind of connection goes to the back of the radio?

Found out about and installed a P.I.E. FDR04-AUX using info from one of the many threads about radios without an aux-in location. Plugs right into the P.I.E.

Thanks to the guys who provided the info about it.

Is this the one you got?

Does this automatically add an AUX channel on the OEM radio??

Yes, when you plug it into your P.I.E. FDR04-AUX.

Before i switch my OEM headunit for an aftermarket. I use that kind of AUX input jack:

Pretty easy to install. Just drill a 3/8" hole wherever you want it and run the wires to your P.I.E. or other brand AUX adapter and that's it.

Here's what it use to look like: http://img111.imageshack.us/img111/1541/p10200062.jpg

I dont think it works if you have the factory Sirius though, because that goes through the aux input.
