Strange Noise on Acceleration

Hi - I'm new to the forum though Ive been visiting for a while.

I've always wanted a F150 to play around with though we dont have them over in the UK. Now we've moved back to Maine I have one in the garage as of tonight!

Anyway we were bringing it back from the dealer today, when my wife - who was driving - mentioned it was making a weird noise. I took it out for a spin and sure enough there is a loud whining/whirring on acceleration. The moment I take my foot off the pedal it stops. It happens from 1mph up to 65mph +. I noticed that the dealer had replaced the e brake and LHR hub seal and thats where the noise appears to be coming from. I applied the e brake as I was moving but the noise continued until the vehicle stopped. Any ideas? Bearings possibly?

Thanks - Steve

- Just got back from the Ford dealer who confirmed its the rear diff whining. I took out an extended warranty with the vehicle but they wont honor it as the fault was present on the vehicle from the dealer. Obviously the dealer (not Ford) isnt returning my calls now.......
