TPMS on 2004 Lariat?

TPMS on 2004 Lariat?

I bought my 2004 Lariat used last year. Love it so far. But how can i tell if it has the tire pressure monitor system?

Turn on your ignition and when all the lights in your instrument cluster light up, look for one that looks like this:

(!)

That is the symbol for the TPMS. At least that is the case with my 2006 Lariat. Hope this helps.

No 2004 F150 came with TPMS. Only started in 2007.

BINGO! 07-up have the tpms, 04-06 do not.

This is good to know. I just got new wheels on my 06 and the website I ordered from says that it is required of 2006 models and up to have TPMS but mine did not. It must pertain to vehicles manufactured in 2006 because many of the 2007 models were manufactured in 2006. Now this all makes sense. I thought maybe the dealership I bought my used truck from might have upgraded the wheels and removed the TPMS function.
