Trans problem, I think?

Hey guys, been awhile since ive been around here hope everyone is doing well.

Recently I have been noticing a lot of stuttering and jerking when I am in third gear traveling around 55 at about 1800 rpm. It happens when I "lug" the engine, give it a little gas so it sits in between 3rd and second. Its like it wants to downshift but cant. Thought that i might need some new trans fluid (72,000 miles 07 truck) so I just had that replaced. While replacing, the shop noticed a slight leak in my rear main seal. Could this be causing the jerking?? Let me know what yall think.

Thanks

Forgot to mention, when I go WOT it flips out. Stutters shudders jumps hesitates, bottom line it doesnt like it at all. After doing a bit of searching on here (probably should have done that first! Oh well) It seems it could be a low grade mis fire. Does this fit the bill?

Mine did the exact same thing and it was a bad cop. I finally got it to throw a code by getting it to stutter for a few seconds.

So I took my truck to the shop and they said all of my Coils are fine...

They did say I have a code showing a problem with my Transmission Control Switch. Where do I go from here? Is this an expensive fix?
