plastic moisture liner under door panels, removal/install??

When you take off the rear door panels off, there is a big plastic liner taht covers the doors held on by some glue stuff.

I want to take this off to dynamat, but when I start peeling it the glue can't be used anymore from what I see.

What dod you guys use to put the liner back on? Any tricks to getting it off, it's really hard to pull off especially since it's 25 degrees out!

I had no problems sticking mine back on with the original glue. I think it's just way too cold. I would definitely recommend doing it indoors or when it gets warmer outside.

well, i can't wait until it gets warmer to finish this, lol. ANd my truck is in my garage, but my garage isn't heated or big enough for me to close the door.

Don't have a heat gun but my wife has a hair dryer. I'll try that.

Thanks guys.

Just use some RTV to reattach it... but check the tube, it probably doesn't work in those temperatures either...

I got it all done and over with.

The hair dryer worked well enough to peel off the panel. To reapply I used the hairdryer while rolling it on with a small glass jar and it went on perfectly.

Both my rear doors are dynamatted now
