Memory Position Function
Memory Position Function
I got bought a 2007 King Ranch recently which had almost every option on it except Nav. I positioned my seat, pedal and mirrors where I wanted them and then saved it for position 1. However when I press that button to fix my mirrors when they get messed up, it doesn't work (the seats and pedals work).
So I looked in my book and it don't say anything about the mirrors being included for the memory, so is that the case? Did they not include the mirrors to be controlled with the memory or is something broke on my truck?
And if they didn't included the mirrors in that function, why would they do that? Every vehicle I have ever driven that had the memory, controlled the mirrors, which is probably the most used reason for it as they get messed up the most. Is there anyway to add it into the function?
Thanks

I don't believe the memory function on an 07 includeds the mirrors. Or at least they don't on my 07 Lariat. Why, your guess is as good as mine. But between my wife and I, we never move the outside mirrors. It's only the one on the windshield.
I don't really move them myself much either, but everytime I go to the carwash they get messed up and it would be really convenient if I could just press the button an fix them both without having to readjust them and have to figure out where they were each time. My Volvo was that way and my buddies 2007 Expedition is that way, so why they would exclude that feature on a truck makes no sense to me.
