Need Advice

I have a 06 f150 with 28000 miles. I bought it new in 07. My question is i keep getting letters to extend the warranty, so do you think I should purchase it? Thanks Guys

What I tell everyone is, if they didn't make money off of them, they wouldn't sell them. It's a crap shoot. You might need it, you might not. I would rather take my chance and pony up for a repair when it occurs, if I ever need something that extensive. I seen posts from some unhappy people when the repair is a used engine or transmission as opposed to a factory rebuilt unit. Not all extended warranties are the same. If you do buy one, do your homework.

The only extended warr worth buying is the one from ford. All the rest are worthless.

Go with a ford esp if you are going to get one, if I got one it would have paid for itself 3 fold by now

I have never bough an extended warranty on ANYTHING I own, but after 2 years and 15K and seeing what a cluster fark these 5.4's are I am seriously considering getting one. I have until September to decide.

^ the only thing with 5.4 is the spark plugs, and cam phasers if you don't use the right oil...

For 95% of the people it would of been cheaper to pay out right for the work, than to buy an extended warranty.

They are OK. I generally come close to breaking even. You have to plan on keeping the truck, and once you get one your committed to keeping the truck.
