Radio came on with truck locked and no key in it.
I have an 04 FX4 xtra cab. It has only 45,000km (29,000 miles) on it and today when I left work it had a hard time starting. When I got home (5mins) I shut the truck off and jumped out. I came back out to shovel the snow out of the box and as I did the rear cab lights (box lights) came on and the then the radio started to play music and the head lights also came on. I got the keys and opened the truck and tried to shut the lights off and they wouldn't turn off and the radio continued to play, without the keys in and the door open. I had to pull the battery cable off to get the lights to go out.
Has anyone had the same problem and more importantly do you know how to fix it?

A good while back my mothers 06 explorer kept having the radio come on with out the key in or anything. But never the lights. Im not sure what the fix was but I know for a while she was just having to turn the radio off before she got out in order to keep it from playing.

i have had my stereo stay on after i removed my key a few times but i just put the key back in the ignition and it turned off never just come on randomly but i have had my stereo just randomly turn up the volume a few times
but you did say u had a hard time starting your truck i think your battery is going bad cause i just got my battery replaced and before that i went to jump start it no key in it while i was hooking up the jumper cables my headlights and interior lights came on which was kind of strange since the keys were in my had and doors closed and lights in off position
so i would have the battery tested

Haha gotta love electrical gremlins. Kinda like gas tank fairies...
Sounds like your RAP (retained accessory power) and the part of your keyless that keeps your headlights on after you shut the truck off are getting signal randomly...really dont know how to fix it though.
