New Ford Truck Owner, need advice!

Hi I am about to take delivery of my first truck purchase Ford 2008 F150 Limited Edition with 19,300 miles. Is there anything that I would should right off the bat maintenance wise?

Also, the truck does have stock pirelli scorpion zero tires (275/45/22) and from reading reviews they are horrible tires and I am in upstate ny so winters will be a problem. Any advice for cheap/good all year round tires for my 22" rims?

Thanks for any help,

Andrew

First thing that I would do is to change the fuel filter. Otherwise as long as the other maintenance things have been done, oil changes, checking fluid levels, ect, you should be good to go.

Sorry but I can't help with the tires.

The stock tires do suck! In snow even worse but I won't type how I feel about them then...

I'd level it and put on some 33's or 35's...

Here's mine leveled 2.5 in front with a 3 inch block in the rear.

On 325/60/20's

Replace the fuel filter at 19K? I say just do an oil change when you get it, and inspect the air filter. Otherwise it should be good to go.

Buying used, you never know what kinda junk went thru the fuel tank... Fuel filter wouldnt be bad to do every 15K - 30K anyway... Cheap insurance really...

I agree change the fuel filter there really isnt much more you can do after 19k, tires wise, i would get some all terrains like bfg or sport king, my girlfriend lives in up state i'm in jersey so i go up there all the time i went up there with bfg in the snow they were great very expensive tires but no better is out there, or good year wrangler at/s are some mean looking tread and i would think they would do great up there
