LOL...how funny that this became so popular. When i first saw the R8 Audi in Iron Man i was like "Dam, those LED strips look sexy." I'm subscribing to this thread to see the final result. My thing is that I believe the F150 headlight is too square to make it attractive. I might be wrong, but look at how nice they look on the HONDA CBR...because the headlamp curves almost like an EYE.....even the Audi headlamps have that upwards curve so lets see if its do-able. I already had another plan in mind in case the headlight LED doesnt work

Ive been debating doing this....might get around to it...these are VERY easy to wire.

I would recommend a switch with a 18 guage wire to the battery and fused. Or use an Add a circuit off your stock fuse box for power. A standard rocker switch to the cab is suficient. Easy access thru the firewall under the driver side as well for wiring.

i say don't do it....it's played out just like every other current trend....CCFL's....blacked out headlights....murdered out vehicles....matte painted vehicles....exposed carbon fiber.....etc. I'll see if I can whip something up in photoshop but I think it won't look right b/c as others said....one if you're running non HID's....and two the headlights are too squared off...and three these are trucks...not vehicles that own the curves...

got some quick...mind you quick is the keyword photoshops coming of this....actually now that I did it...it doesn't look half bad...but I dunno, just seems to be another fad that will quickly die off....to me like putting scissor doors on non lambos...

so I could get the "glare" effect....had I taken my time I would have just done it on the LED's themselves and not the whole pic....it was a rushed job so I could give you guys a quick idea

MTP-FX4....that's just a chop.....not actual mod....although it doesn't look bad and I'm not afraid to open up headlights being I did my 350Z's a long time ago. The most crucial part is getting the lense off and not letting the sealant touch it....then getting it back on and making sure it's fully sealed so condensation doesn't build up. The rest is easy but I'd have to consult my buddy who is an LED guru as I would actually drill holes for each individual LED and wire them all up...looks better that way.

Thanks....I wish someone would actually do this the right way w/ a nice retro fitted....KEY WORD RETRO FITTED not just an HID kit....to see how it looks w/ the projector....maybe after christmas I'll buy a set of OEM headlights and start modding and see what I come up with...it's gonna be stealthy but nice at the same time. Would love to put a projector w/ a chrome turn signal bulb in place of the turn signal location....I think I could make it work w/ a 350Z or the likes "03 to '05 2.5" projector. Then use a 3" TSX projector on the main lamp. The LED's would be the hardest part if done individually.

Would do this to the lights I have on now but they're OEM blacked out and don't wanna ruin them.

Plus if you get true projectors you can black out the whole headlight and just not the areas surrounding the convex/lamp bezel or whatever. Then again the turn signal you'd need the bezel if you went w/ the chrome bulb but an LED would be good....but from my Z days many guys went the LED turn signal route and had to replace them frequently due to burning out.

Has anyone done this to their truck yet? I want to do it but want to find out if the headlights running with HIDs might burn out the LEDs or not. Let me know! Post pics if you got them!
