Blew My Rear Last Night I need a new one ANY one got any ideas
 

hey everyone i blew my rear on my f150 screw short bed fx4 with the 12 bolt 9.75 rear, I found a rear for yay, but now i have another problem, i slid my axles out, my driverside axle got twisted in half from the power of my truck now i NEED a new or used one of them, any one go any ideas, i prices new one, it ranges from 220 to 500 just for the axle is anyone parting out their truck i need one asap thanks

that sucks.check junkyards or see what it will cost to re-build if you want gears or anything.

did that to my 07 mid august, but i was lucky and got it done under warranty.

What were you dong to blow your axle? Must have been something serious lol. check craigslist?

umm ur in jersey there a place in jackson big ol junkyard was there about a month ago and i saw 2 f150's i would check them
where are you in jersey boss?

its on monmouth road and 86 in jackson
there another even bigger one in hunterton county dont no exactly where it is but its right in the southern line of the county

i was doing burnouts and **** you know stupid **** that caust people a fortune like me .lol

lol! :) Good luck on finding another axle! Hey I don't know too much about the aftermarket for these axles...but are there some stronger shafts that can be run? What exactly broke?

my driverside axle twisted in half my ring pinion and carrier are destroyed my bearings and seals and my diff cover all got destroyed

If your housing is still good, why don't you just buy upgraded shafts, new gears, and a locker or another differential and have it built for around the same price as a brand new one or a used one?
