possible trade/sell opinion

alright...i know ive had a few threads lately talking about my truck getting some new things co,ming in the future....

but theres a possibility i will be trading it for a Super Duty. Ive found these two, and am wondering what yall think of me trading or selling my truck to get one of them and which yall like better

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...standard=false i like this one because its got lower miles, a sound system, banks power, guages, and i like the red, and it has the reliable 7.3L

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...standard=false i like thise truck though because its only a hour away from me, has 46" tires and leather, but has more miles and the 6.0L

I like the 02 alot better for a couple reasons. 7.3, mileage, and the stance. The 04 looks to have a really narrow stance for being so huge.

The 7.3 is a long lasting beast. My fireman neighbor has one and it's well over 200,000 miles. He uses it every day, and during the grass growing season it's used by his lawnmowing crew (side business) daily to haul a trailer of lawncare equipment to various jobs, plus a cab full of workers. Uses it to haul the travel trailer and all kinds of jobs.

That black truck looks really goofy since it's so tall and narrow. Plus that 6.0L is the kiss of death. I'd go with the red one.

that 04 is overpriced like crazy.

the 02, yes overpriced, but the fact its low mileage 7.3 it will be worth every penny.

the 6.0's main problems are the EGR and head gaskets (studs stretch).
upgrading to ARP studs and EGR delete fixes almost all problems, its about 2500+ depending where you get this done. alot of trucks already have those done.

check powerstroke.org they have alot of nice trucks, some better prices than others

heres two nice lifted trucks, for better prices than that 04 you found.

i found a few high mileaged 08's for 28-30k. all still at or below a 100k. ofcourse these were stock trucks

Lets see... an unreliable 6.0 with more miles for more money or a stupid low mileage awesome 7.3 for lots less... Kinda a no brainer.

Both trucks seem overpriced. Be sure to run an OASIS report on anything you are looking at before buying it.
