I loved my truck and I miss it daily. But sadly I put over a grand just into gas saving items, edge, airaid, exhaust etc. I dunno after 3 years of 11-12mpg, used to not be able to go anywhere man just cause money was tight with wife in school.

I had to let her go man, I miss it but I think IMO I will buy a used truck that I can beat around maybe with a lift something simple of that nature. I traded my fiddy on a Civic SI 09 model sedan, fill ups are 29 bucks usually twice a month. And I burn the roads up before I would let my truck sit and stay at the house all the time.

If you are in a pinch, you better do something with it before the gas gets high again or those trade-ins are gonna go down down down.

There are a lot of different numbers here haha. Before I lifted my truck I could ALWAYS get 18mpg or better on the highway. I used to get 400-425 miles out of my 25 gallon tank on mixed driving. Those days are over

12 mpg, get a custom tune.

i got 11mpg all day with my 35's.
got between 15-18.5 mpg highway depending on speed. anything above 70 really plummetted my gas mileage.

my dad gets 15 city in his, and up to 22 highway.

Stock tires rims 18s and I get 12mpg city, 16mpg highway. I got the pcm updated hoping that would help but it never. All my driving is in the city and it just sucks. (PUN)

Here ill put my .02 in here..... If your looking for good mileage then get a Hybrid car and not a truck. Trucks are not known for good mileage. I hate when people complain about their mileage in a truck or the ride is rough. You bought the damm thing and you should have known when you bought it the stickers on the window are hardly ever true. Go somewhere the gas is very cheap and you dont have to worry as much. im getting around 11mpg on 37s and 4.88s by the way

Keep the rpms under 2k and make sure your tires are at the right pressure. My mileage when I was driving downtown New Orleans downtown traffic everyday was still 17. Now that I'm mostly highway I get 20.

06 FX4. I've averaged 16.3 for the last year. That's about 80% rural/city 20% highway. With a quite a few 400+ mile towing trips in there. 12 would **** me off, too.

Stay under 2000 RPM at all times for two gas tanks and tell us the result.

It only has 48k miles on it too. Any ideas????
I'll trade trucks with you, mine gets darn near 20 mixed driving.
