Well one of my drunk friends broke off one of my clothes hangers behind the drivers seat. Can someone please give me a website where I can purchase a new one?

Ford truck coat hook replacement

Called a Ford Dealership for replacement cost for 1 plastic coat hook in my '12 Expedition. Can't buy just 1, it's a set of 4 for $65! No way!! Went to Lowe's & purchased 2 over the cabinet metal towel hooks for $3.80 each. I found a couple of screws I already had around the house, ran them through a washer for support, & bingo!! Working like a charm!! Check out the images.

First off, you just posted a response to a thread from 5 years ago. I hope the original poster found the solution to his problem. Try to avoid resurrecting threads that are so old.

Second, welcome to the forums.

Finally, your Lowe's solution may be fine for a temporary fix in a bind, but it looks pretty ugly. Tasca Ford has them individually for less than $7/ea.

Whenever in doubt, do as I do, call the dealer, get the part #, and run to google/Tasca!

Welcome ....

Yeah, it's easy to be "searching" for an answer or problem's solution someone else used and stumble on a thread, get caught up in it and even respond without realizing it's age.

As it is, a timely bit of information I might be able to make use of for my older truck. I was gonna make something, but now I'll take a look at these next time I'm out.

Instant need vs pretty

Let's see....it's 8:30 PM, Ford dealership is closed, coat hanger has broken and I am trying to hang clothes for the 2 freaking weeks I will be gone to dig breast cancer out of my chest. Finding 2 over cabinet hooks that would work in a pinch.....awesome. Living longer to not worry about my dang coat hanger being pretty.....priceless.

Well you had mentioned that the Ford dealership said it was $65 for a set of 4. There's no issue of making your solution work in a pinch, just that if you have a few days for Tasca Ford or eBay to ship you a part, the factory version can be had for a few dollars and will look like new.

Hey AnnieRoonie,
Hope all goes well for you. Will say a prayer for you.
