How tall do I need to go! LIFT

I need new tires and was wanting to go with 35's have 33's now. I have 2" leveling kit on truck now. The wheels have 5.5 back spaceing (KMC 20")

My Q is I want to go with the littlest amount of lift I can get away with.
I was thinking of 2.5 Leveling kit with Add a Leff. OR go with the 3" Skyjacker lift that most peple on here HATE.

Heres my truck now I have added Bushwacker Fender Flares

Thanks for any help! AND sorry if this Q has been asked before!

to fit 35's you need i think 6.5" backspacing which are same as stock (someone correct me if its different).

only options would be suspension lift, with those wheels your only option is a rancho lift since they allow stock wheels, all other lifts i believe require around 4 1/2" backspacing on wheels.

or you could do a body lift if you didn't want to get suspension lift done.

I've seen that 5.71" of BS like on the MM 951 18x9" wheels on 35's with a 2.5" leveling kit on front and add a leaf in the rear will work...correct me if I'm wrong...

Dont you have a 4.5" backspacing on your wheels . The last time i saw you had KMC Hoss, same wheel i have, and im pretty sure they dont have it in a 5.5BS. Anyway i think you need at least 6" to get 35" with those wheels you have. So i guess you could do the Rancho 4" with your spacer on top of that? I know i have a 3" leveling kit and there is no way i could get 35's without at least3 or 4 more inches without rubbing terrible.

I do have the KMC Hoss still. They may be 4.5 I thought they were 5.5 I have had the wheels for some time. I realy don't want to go with the Rancho because it will not fit in the garage.

Thanks Strikeswiftly

I may keep it the same and go with the TOYO AT 305/60/20 Tire

Nitto makes a 295/60/20. Ive seen on a new f150 on the showroom floor. They had to do some trimming, but nothing serious. I wouldnt think you would trouble fitting in the garage unless it is very very small. Most are 7 ft doors and you have to be pretty big to not fit in there.

Honestly Jason... If you seen the truck you cant telll... I wished i had some pictures of it because not many people are running a 295 wide tire. You are also talking half of an inch difference in tires, but you would be gaining an inch in height. Just an idea, i also think the TG's are better looking then the Toyos, but you know how opinions vary. Your truck looks good now they way it is, but i hear you on the lift.. IM there. You wouldnt happen to post some pics with the bushwackers on would you? I just bought some, but havent got them to paint yet. Eff one Fitty has a good idea!

Big_Smokey I'll try to get a pic of the truck with the bushwackers on.

I wish there was a pic of the truck with 295 next to the 305 tire. I may go down to tire shop and have them put both on and go from there...

or I could go with the 3" Skyjacker lift and 35's hehe

Thanks for all the info guys

What is the difference in price of the 3" skyjacker and lets say the cheapest 6 inch setup? Not counting tires of course. Im sure the labor is about the same? I dont know....
