Computer Reset
My buddy and I put the Superchips Mileage XS on my truck last night and the system errored out when it was installing. So we ried it again and it errored out againd. So we were like lets wait till tech support opens at Superchips and see what is going on. Now the real problem is that the truck no longer starts and the Programmer won't return my truck to the stock settings. I have removed the positive and negative battery terminals and let it sit over night and the truck still won't start. How can I get my computer to reset itself back to the factory setings?

If you disconnected the programmer while it was doing its thing, you may have corrupted the PCM. What happened when it "errored out"?
I have heard u remove the negative side and turn the headlights on
Ford can re-flash the pcm if it comes to that.
Well took the truck to the dealer and they tried to flash my PCM it would not take or send a signal so they said it has to be replaced. Does this sound right?
I would get with SCT. A new PCM isn't cheap and I'd get them to check their programmer to make sure they're not responsible for that new PCM.
sucks to hear that. x2 for contact them and try and have them cover it.
I called them and they said that they were not responsible and basically told me you paid for the tuner that is all we are required to support. I had to pay 1300 to get a new PCM installed in my truck. F-SCT

Holy crap, put SCT on the list of companies to avoid.
