Thinking about a black RBP grille....

Like the one on Eff One Fifty's truck {that's a damn good looking truck BTW.... "especially for a 'white, Super Crew" LOL Those freaking 37"s just kill me. My truck will never be as cool as it could be, without them ....and since they will never work for my whole truck using situation, it will just probably never happen Anyway.....

Yea', I think that a black RBP grille (along with a Cervini hood would just be sick on my truck !

I saw a black RBP on a pyrite mica (kind of close to my paint color) Toyota Tundra earlier today, and I thought it looked great too. Of course I'm the whacko Ford guy that loves the look of Tundra's too.

I know a lot of guys don't like RBP grilles "because" they are different. But personally, I "love them" because they are different.

What do you think ?

Just curious,
Fish

Here we go.... any photo shop guys that can put a black RBP on this ?

Dude, Chris, your truck is currently near perfection as-is. Do not BRO-ify your truck with that RBP grille.

It's not that we don't like them because they are different, we don't like them because they look like ***.

Thank you guys, and thank you Watson for the PS job. Of course even if I went with an RBP grille, I'd have to paint the star, and the RBP badge black .... and maybe the bolt heads that circle it too.

Hey Stealth, I appreciate that, but I always liked those grilles.... And especially being completely blacked out, I don't think they would look too bro-ified

Peace,
Fish

Well, the thing with those grilles is they all look the same, no matter what truck. You see one, you've seen them all. To me that makes it less unique, and how it's designed it reminds me of a Bro. Looks just like something a Bro would wear clothing-wise.

x2... no bros

I just think it is too gaudy... I don't think grilles (other than stock emblems) should have things on them. Looks kinda over powering. No offense, just doesn't do anything for me.

Well ya' see now, that's funny you should say that, after Eff One Fifty's truck got TOTM, using that same grille ??? I mean that decision was made by popular vote, correct ?
Granted, it probably has a lot to do with the fact that its a "white, Supercrew"...... which are two things I don't care for, and still, I think that is a great looking truck !
For me though, the two things I like the most on that truck, are those 37"s, and that RBP grille

Oh and hey
they look like ***
Cool ! Then if I got a Cervini grille that was "ti+s" ..... Whoo Hoo ! ti+s and *** ! Which one of you wouldn't be down with that ? LOL

Peace,
Fish

I think it's because it's such a gaudy grille. IMO it's like the front ends of the '09 F150s...I think the truck needs to be lifted for it to look good.

Your truck looks great as is. Simple is sometimes better.
