How do you replace the center dash

How do you replace the center dash around the stereo adn how long should it take?

I believe you have to replace the entire dash to do that if I have the part you are talking about correct. Are you referring to the rigid plastic section that the recessed tray on top of the dash sits down in?

What year truck and what exactly are you talking about when you say center dash?

Are you just wanting to remove the bezel around the radio? That just pops off by opening the ash tray putting your fingers under the bezel the pulling gentle out. There's like 6 or 8 total clips there that hold it in place.

The center dash don't come out on it's own, the dash is one complete assembly aside from some take out parts like the dash tray, glove box, and a few trim pieces.

It's a 2008 F150 XLT, the dash is 2 tone. Its the part of the dash that the bexel is in.

As far as I know you can't remove that unless you want to remove the entire dash.
