IF I REPLACE THE PHASERS WITH NEW ONES WILL THE DIESEL SOUND GO AWAY OR I JUST NEED 2 PUT A SIGN ON MY TRUCK THAT SAYS IT NOT A D**N DIESEL

 

I just replaced both of mine this past week and the diesel sound went away. Of course you need to verify that's what is causing the noise. But it sounds like that is the problem.

I had a Ford tech ask me about it today at Auto Zone, said mine was quieter at idle than most. So I had to tell him what I just went through.
