Plugs - got'em done and fortnately I did it now!
So I took my truck to my mechanic yesterday for a tune-up and oil change, new fuel, oil and air filters, etc. He pulls all the plugs and tells me he's lucky he got them all out. Truck only has 64000 km on it (about 40k miles) but he said the carbon on them was nasty. He cleaned them all perfectly and was going to put them back in but recommended I go with new plugs because with the stress he put on them coming out and the stress going back in he thought they might break going back in and if not, coming out the next time. He loaded the threads with anti-seize and cleaned all the carbon out of the holes. 4.2 hrs at $65/hr plus $21 a plug! But it's good to know I don't have to worry about them for a while, he recommended pulling them every 6 months for cleaning and to put more anti-seize on them. I kept the old plugs just because and I keep one on my keychain just as a reminder now.

Hopefully, he put the anti-seize on the shank and not on the threads. The plugs should have no antiseize on the threads. He was reasonable on the hourly, but got to you on the plugs. My dealer charged $10 per plug, but they get you on the hourly. My plugs were failrly clean at 65,000, do you run fuel with a good detergent?
