Brembo?????

So i was thinking.....

not always a good sign but i decided to leave this mod up to y'all in the forums to decide. I was toying around with the idea of putting on BREMBO slotted roters and calipers on my f150 and thought that it may be a good idea. I just want to know what y'all think of that.

Dont flame just tell me what ya think

=

Looking at brakes also...

I'm wondering If I can use the SSBC 3 piston calipers and the baer 15" rotor upgrade.

I'll be going with the Baer 15" rotors when I install my 20" wheels. If the SSBC caliper is a direct bolt on for factory replacement, it might work. If you attempt it, let us know if it works.

I have the SSBC front calipers and had no problems with the fitment, decent upgrade, stopping power is good and they look cool. I also added the Power Slot cryo rotors and hawk brake pads.

i heard the ssbc can have problems with the fitment but im sure that they may have just gotten the one out of the batch that was screwed up just slightly. I was thinking the BREMBO just based solely on reputation and my dad put them on his bmw and said they are sick. So idk gimme some feedback to what you think any pros and cons for either the brembo or ssbc?

If you go the Brembo rotor and pad way, be prepared for tons of dust. Acuras and BMW's run Brembos, but the brakes are oversized and kick up a ton of dust. The factory upgrade Brembos on my Acura are twice the size of the factory standard and require special rims to fit the brake system. But the amount of dust they create is incredible. The dust from the F150 factory brakes are nothing compared to what Brembos will do. You have been warned...

Just go with Brembo rotors and use another pad. It's the pads which produce the dust. He is asking about Brembo rotors and calipers anyhow.
