Need pics please - Screw w/ 6.5' box & 4" lift w/ 35's
 

I found pics of this configuration but only with a 6" lift and I'd like to see it with a 4". If you got pics, post 'em please.

I wont lie to you, IMO a 4" lift is the same height as a 2.5" leveling kit w/ 35's. I have seen them in person, and parked next to each other they sit pretty much the same. Hell even a 2.5" level w/ 35's is fairly close to a 6" suspension lift. I can say this only because I have seen a 4" lift next to a leveled truck and a leveled truck next to a 6" lift with these exact mentioned setups. No real difference IMO :coffee: Go big or go home! :thumbsup::devil:

I'd love to do a Rize 8" or a 6" with a 3" body lift but I also have other hobbies. I'm looking at getting a newer snowmobile soon and I'll be getting a commuter next summer, plus with a 4" I'll just be able to fit in my garage, which will be nice if I want to detail it on one of those -40 days.

I also want to say that some people have a 6" lift and still fit in the garage. There is a thread floating around where people measured from ground to cab top and all kinds of other measurements in it, as well as a thread about "will if fit in the garage" or something to that nature where people told how tall the garage door was and how much room they had to fit the truck in. If I remember right some only had 1-2" of headroom :eek:

I myself would go 6 but I want to go with the 4 inch Rancho because I want to keep my factory 20's

My bed is on 5.5'...there are a couple of veteran members on here with the Rancho lift, just search it. My truck fits in my garage heightwise, but lengthwise is a no go...sink is in the way. I am not sure if the 6.5' bed would fit, even without the sink! Anyway see my pics for some ideas. Also look for Copenhagen848, VTHokie, Gatorbait10, ATOM, ColonelBlue and a few others.

As for the 4" being the same as a 2.5 leveling kit...I am not going to argue with someone who's seen them side by side, but I just cant see how that can be. I got about 5" of total lift with my Rancho and I don't see how the 2.5 lk can come close to that.

I found out that a 4" lift kit lifts the front 4" and the rear 2.5", which would level my truck our perfectly. I measured my truck and the total height of the garage door. I factored in 4" for the lift and another 2" for the 35's (I have 31 or 32's now), and with 6" total extra height I will just fit, and I get to keep my sunroof gaurd too!

stove top, if the rancho uses a rear 2 1/2" rear block, stock has 1 5/8" or something like that, so you barely get 1" more out of the rear. and an 1 1/2" in the front so thats pretty dam close in height. i have seen a few trucks leveled with 35's that looked much higher than i had imagined.

I had a 2.5" AS with 35" TOYO AT on 18" Mickey Thompson. A couple days ago I had the RANCHO 4" put in my truck. I am in Iraq right now so my girlfriend picked it up. She says the truck is certainly higher than before. Probably not a lot higher, but I had rub with the 2.5" and I dont think I will have that problem anymore. Pics will be coming soon once I get out of this crappy country. I would say the 4" gives some sort of height advantage compared to just the 2.5 AS.

The main advantage of the Rancho kit to the leveling kit is the decreased ball joint angles.
