Problem

posted this in the headunit section and got no response, thought I would try it here

So I pulled my headunit tonight along with my subs and amps, I put my headunit back after hooking the door speakers to the headunit (they were run to an amp before) everything hooked back up and working, headunit put back and amps and subs pulled and now the headunit does not work. Fuse on the back of the radio is good. fuse 5 or 7 is good. I did not check #31, I think it is but all other wires are hooked up but no power to the headunit. Any other ideas? thanks guys!!!

Double check your Red (accessory) Yellow (battery) and black (ground) connections.

Power

Sorry I don't know the wiring etc on this but first thing I'd do is get a wiring diagram and see which ones are supposed to be hot and check it out with a volt meter. If they're good then I'd suspect the unit might be bad. Best ideas I could come up with - good luck.

check your acc. line... if you had an amp hooked up then you probably used the acc line to hook up the remote line on the amp. You might have disconnected the line while taking your amp out.

Just a thought
i could be wrong
