i have a cheap $100 black diamond plate box from pep boys that i use every day and it has been great. yeah the lock is kinda crappy and its not low-pro but i have been very pleased. i got it 3 years ago and i cant complain. i think it was called a "tough guy II" which is lame but i just ripped the sticker off.

I am looking for a toolbox that will do that, preferably in black.

If you're looking for a black tool box.. your best bet is DeeZee.. it has the best warranty.. and with most of these black boxes, you'll need it.. I bought a Trail Boss black low profile 16 months ago and the paint is already oxidizing and chipping.. mind you, my truck sits outside a lot..

DeeZee only costs a little more.. but the warranty definately looks to be worth it..

Thanks found a few in NJ over an hour drive, not too bad.

Any good places where to checkout the Deezee one?

In terms of warranty? they don't require you to ship it back to them to get it replaced at your expensive right? lol seems alot of stuff lately requires that.

Its up to your budget. Thats a good/nice box, but $100 or so more then the UWS.

I assume thats your truck in your sig? So you're not looking for a stepside model? UWS would be your only choice otherwise.

yes that's my truck. Stepside model?

WOW that beast looks amazing? Fender Flares are Bushwacker ones right? I haven't found them for a decent price yet, my stock ones are all faded and tire shine only brings it back to life for a bit.

I like how this one looks: http://www.fordf150.net/photos/data/500/S8001259.JPG I need the visibility since I do alot of parallel parking, not like i can see car's bumpers anyways lol

UWS > TSC IMO...I had a UWS box first and loved how it open like 85 degrees whereas the TSC box is a little less. The latch mechanism worked better on the UWS box and it seemed sturdier. I am not getting rid of my TSC box just yet because it was cheap and I could get ti right away, but I am always on the look out for a UWS replacement for me.

Unless you're going to do some major use with it. Like daily, carry alot of tools and such, daily beating, then I say no. Its not worth it imo.

im pretty sure the Tractor Supply boxes are manufactured by UWS. I cant remember, ill run out to the truck in a little bit and take a look. i got the cheaper, 1 piece lid version, and i love it! i got it used for $85, but new is like $175, still cheap as ****, relatively.
