I seem to have a speed related noise coming from under my truck. I don't recall it being there in the past several months and I tend to have the radio on when I drive so I am not sure how long it has been this bad. I have 175k on the truck now. I thought it might be a bad U joint so I changed both in the rear shaft without any effect. I bought the truck about a year ago and do not have any service records. I am going to check/change the fluids in both diffs. The noise does not change with accell or braking/ in 2wd or 4wd. Another thought is a bad front wheel bearing. I have not listened to it with hard left or right turns at speed.
Anyone with experience with this or any suggestions where to start?
