help truck shakes

Help i have a 04 supercrew 4x2 2in leveling kit up front i am running 325/60-18 nitto on 18 rims about 2 weeks ago i started to hear a noise from the back tires like when brakes pads go bad so i took it to the shop they told me it was the u joint but when they took off to check they said it looks fine nothing wrong with the u joint of drive shaft but know the trucks shakes when i hit 40 mph he told me it was my tires what do u guys think thanks in advance

well if it wouldnt shake before you took it to the shop they should fix it. im no mechanic but i would think maybe they dented the drive shaft on accident while checking for the problem. i would balance your tires just to check those off the list.

how bad is the shake? like is it a vibration or is the whole thing violently shaking? can you feel it in the pedals? does it happen under accel? does it continue when you release the throttle?

need more info bud

It could be a lot of things. Parking brake sticking comes to mind.

I will tell you that I had Nitto Terra Grapplers 325/60/18 as my first tire "upgrade". They shook like crazy the whole time I had them. I switched to Toyo AT 325/65/18's and they are smooth as can be. I think it might be a tire problem.

it vibrtbes around 40 and i feel it on the pedial and it happens when i accl and when i relase it but only at 40 i go 60 70 80 and it runs smooth
